Title of work: Journey Series #3: Memento of Germany

Artist Statement:

I love dandelions. They grow together with weeds. Dandelions are swaying in breeze and the seeds are dispersing into wind. It reminds us that life is gentle and would finally vanish without a trace. Flying seeds, dissipating flowers, are not only an end, but also a rebirth. A plant that is full of hope and representing circle of life.

Materials: woven silk, wool and cotton fabrics, lace and metallic thread that are collected during my visit to Germany

Techniques: hand stitched, hand pieced, hand appliqué, hand quilted, hand embroidered
