Title of work: My Generation #3: LOHAS
Theme: Wind
My Feedback: Beautiful Lugano
I traveled to Lugano, Switzerland. On the first night, it was heavy rain and strong wind. I watched wind and rain performing the whole night in the lakeside B&B. The wind blew the leaves and curled the rain. It was a huge stage of Nature. The performance was phenomenal. The next morning I strolled along the beautiful lakeside. It was so quiet and peace. It felt like two worlds comparing to the night before. I really like Lugano and I visit there every time I go to Switzerland. I even hope to have a chance to live there for a longer time and be LOHAS! Best wishes to everyone!
Artist Statement:
Flowers are scattered by the winds, just like my no-longer-young self. Keeping such a unique gesture and charm, living a happy life, and being happiness and at ease, it is the LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) generation.
In the second half of life, I am looking for a happy self living LOHAS. Care less about how others see you, but think more about how to live a meaningful life. Try to create a LOHAS environment, upgrade the living conditions, and turn your hobby into a career. Loving the Earth, caring about the ecology, and stepping out of your comfort zone to serve people are not only a dream of living LOHAS but also a brand new motive of life. Thank you, Misik Kim, for the prompt. Best wishes to everyone!
