Sad Fallen Leaves
Written and photographed by Lin Hsin-Chen
Tainan City is known for its clean environment.
However, over-sweeping seems to violate the rule of Nature.
Grass stops growing…
Some trees were even cut by the residents around the area for a better view…
We should respect Nature more.
Brooms are prepared for “fighting” fallen leaves.
Trees were cut for better view.

Chinese Globeflower
Written and photographed by Lin Hsin-Chen
Although the original green path in the forest has been destroyed and seemed difficult to recover, the vital yellow flowers along the path are just like cheerleaders who are cheering for the Earth!
They are Chinese Globeflowers.
Their strong, positive and Phototaxis characteristics make the whole environment vibrant and vivid.
The red and yellow flowers fulfill the desire of mankind and Nature temporary.

Appearance of Boiled Egg-National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing
Written and photographed by Lin Hsin-Chen
I have heard the story of this great architecture, National Centre for the Performing Arts before my visit. The construction of the building once was completed but it was burned down and couldn’t make any ceremonies to celebrate at that time.
Under intense pressure, the nation reconstructed this oriental cultural opera house again in a short time. It is indeed a remarkable achievement by an international architectural designer.

Voices from leaves
Written and photographed by Lin Hsin-Chen
The laws of nature teach people to conform to the course of nature and render revelation…..as it is, we cannot secure the life cycle of leafage.
Walking in the park and I saw a bamboo broom against a tree. This is a common sight in daily life.
However, when I was strolling in the park after a rainy day, I saw the leaves falling down by raindrops. Young, old, withered, yellowing and all kinds of leaves…the fallen leaves looked so fragile on the ground, on the bench, and on the grass. They were all wet and weak; I couldn’t tell there were dews or raindrops on them… but it was an aesthetic feeling.
Leaves have the right to fall down calmly on the grass after a rainy day, waiting for nutrients and return back to nature.
Dear leaves, please forgive the building structure made by people. We are obstructing your way to nature and make you helpless fall down on the glass, rather than on stone. Is it a fortune or a misfortune?
