My works are exhibited with Viewpoints 9 at the European Patchwork Meeting this year from September 16 to 19. I’m thrilled to share some photos of the exhibit!

I’m thrilled to have 5 works (“Bringing Back the Stories”, “Happy Birthday”, “Dry Gorge”, “Out of Thin Air”, and “Win by a Surprise Move”) exhibited with Viewpoints 9 at International Quilt Festival in Houston this year! Come to see my works at the show, October 29-November 1 at the GeorgeR.BrownConvention Center.

International fiber art group, Viewpoints 9, will have their European premiere at the Carrefour European Patchwork Meeting in 2015! I will have 6 quilts exhibited at the show. TAQS aims to promote quilt art, to serve communities, quilters and quilt-lovers with profession and spirits of volunteers. In addition, all TAQS members strive to promote Taiwan textile art as well as international cultural exchanges. We are very proud to be interviewed by Taiwan Review, which is the flagship publication of Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Its sister publications in Spanish, French, German and Russian spread the same message of mutual understanding using other foreign languages.

‘Crossing Oceans’ is an invited group of international artists from around the world. Each quilter/artist offers a different perspective on the chosen theme of ‘Nature’. These textile artists wish to extend the boundaries of this medium and produce a live art form appropriate for its day and age. There will be six quilts from each of the artists representing their own interpretations upon the theme.

“Taiwan Environmental and Ecological Art Quilt” is now exhibiting in Miaoli!

There are 22 large collaborative works made by members of TAQS. The size of every quilt is larger than 200 cm x 200 cm and they are completed by hand-sewing. We invite you to visit the venue and explore the beauty of large quilts!
